Okay, you all know that shopping is kind of my thing. So much so, that when friends are shopping and see something about shopping, they instantly think of me. That’s how I first heard this slogan, which brilliantly combines my love of shopping and reluctance to exercise in a few words.
Black Friday shopping, however, is a different story. Black Friday shopping requires strategy, and I’m more of an impulse shopper (although skilled one, because I know what I like and rarely regret a purchase). Black Friday browsing, i.e. soaking up the hustle and bustle while strolling through stores, is highly entertaining, but I don’t have the patience to navigate the crowds and stand in the lines and actually buy anything. Instead, I prefer to do all of my Black Friday shopping online, and save in-store purchases for Small Business Saturday (the real best shopping day of the year).
Every retailer is doing Black Friday a little early this year, which means you can grab great deals at Net-a-Porter, H&M, ShopBop, Bloomingdale’s, ASOS, Forever 21, Michael Kors and LOFT, as well as a few more obscure sources. Here, I pick my 15 of favorite finds from lesser known sites (except for Nordstrom, of course), in no particular order:
